Kriti Sanon completed her schooling from DPS (Delhi Public School), R K Puram, New Delhi and obtained her B.Tech degree from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

 

During her modelling days, she has appeared in several television commercials, endorsing brands like Vivel, Close Up, Samsung, Amul, and Himalaya. She walked the ramp for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2010, in Mumbai. In 2012, she was seen in India International Jewelry week and Chennai International Fashion week. Sanon has also walked the ramps for designers like Suneet Varma, Ritu Beri, and Niki Mahajan.

 

After an immensely successful modelling career, Sanon finally made her acting debut with the Telugu film Nenokkadine in which, she was cast opposite superstar actor Mahesh Babu. The film did well and Kriti too was praised. Later that year, Sanon made her Hindi film debut with the film Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff. Though the film received mixed reviews from most of the critics, the film was declared a commercial success at the box-office. For her powerful performance, Sanon won herself the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Following year she starred in her second Telugu film titled Dohchay and later that year she starred in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale. Both the films were moderate hit but Kriti got her due. Her much-awaited film Raabta failed to make any impact at the box-office. Her next film Bareilly Ki Barfi was a huge hit and also earned her praises for her performance in the film. In 2019, she delivered the biggest hit of her career thus far in Luka Chuppi in which she was cast alongside Kartik Aryan. She will be next seen in Housefull 4 and Panipat.

 

Apart from acting, she has also appeared in Arijit Singh’s music video of the song "Chal Wahan Jaate Hain" opposite Tiger Shroff. She has also done item numbers in films like Stree and Kalank.
